Can't get TTFB quicker than 2.3 seconds

Issue Summary

Despite all tweaks based on existing articles, I can’t get TTFB any quicker than 2.3 seconds on my Windows 10 Pro environment. I get under a second on my live environment so how is this saving me time?

Troubleshooting Questions

  • Does this happen for all sites in Local, or just one in particular? I only have one

  • Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site in Local and access it in a Browser? That’s what I have - a plain site, no add-ons or anything.

Replication

Create a new site, open the site in front end or back-end - both the same TTFB.

  • What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used?

    • Windows 10 Professional, OS build 19041.804
