Just a question: Once I’m done local, how do I publish/deploy on a live site? What’s the best way to do it?

There are various ways to do this at the moment. I personally use Duplicator (free) or BackupBuddy (premium) since they both have great import tools.
Be sure to look out for future updates to Local that improve this though

Yup! However to be clear you’ll need to create the export/package in Duplicator.
Duplicator can’t import Local exports.
I have used All-in-One WP Migration to export from Local and import to Flywheel successfully.

I am using it with a 1.8gb site and it is taking a very long time it seems to import from my .wpress file to the local system. I exported from a hosted site on a live server at my host geekzonehosting and it exported with no issues so I am wondering what your experience was with the time it takes to do the import to local? Sofar it has taken about 1 hour and only 50% done. This is the first time I have tried it so I do not know what is normal time to expect.
