I’m experiencing two problems, the first one is that if I select PHP Version 7.4.1 installation throws an error and fails. If I initially select PHP Version 7.3.5 WordPress installation succeeds, but if later I switch to 7.4.1 the installation becomes corrupted and cannot be repaired:
If I select PHP Version 7.3.5, installation proceeds without problems. However, there is one more problem. If I set the “Local site path” to be on a drive letter other than C:, for example:
*D:\Development\Local sites\My site 1*
installation appears to succeed, but when I click either the “ADMIN” or “VIEW SITE” button, I get a blank page with a bit of text that reads “No input file specified”. This only happens if I choose Apache as the web server. If I switch to Nginx it works as expected and I can view the site. If I switch back to Apache again, I get the “No input file specified”.
My host uses Apache, does it matter if I use Nginx locally and then export my site and upload to the server? I’ve tried this and it seems to work but I had some trouble with pictures not displaying on my live site.
Sorry about the long post, thanks!
