Local certificates show up as added but don't really work on Macbook with m1

Issue Summary

SSL certificates not being created. The process goes normally and I get asked for password on macos to generate the certificate.

After that it does not change. If I stop and start the website it shows as “trusted” but the certificate is not really added.

Happens on all installations, imported or fresh

  • Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site in Local and access it in a Browser?

Yes

Replication

  • Install Local on your macbook with m1
  • Create an install
  • Trust the domain

Thanks for writing in @elsonponte, and welcome to the Local Community Forums!

We’ve seen that the process of adding SSL certs has changed on recent versions of macOS. Can you take a look at this topic and let us know if the solution there allows you to use HTTPS?
