I decided to use Local to speed up my workflow getting a fast responsive environment on my local Worstation that is very powerfull (eventhough it is old ). A Dell Precision T5500 with 2 Xeon 2.93GHz hexacore ( giving me 12 Cores - 24 Virtual Cores) with 24 GB of RAM. I am running OS and APPS of 2 different SSD disks. Have the Local Sites on another SSD with RAID-0 to speed up the perfomance.
What I am experiencing is a performance of Local Sites that mimics my Cloud Shared Hosting…
My Worstation is not busy at all with what I am running on it.
I found that Local is running as a 32 bit application! and doesnt´use my GPU at all.
What would be the expected performance on a setup like the one described here?
Is there some configuration tweeks I should do to get more performance of Local ?
