Hey guys! I’d appreciate your help with the issue below.
### Issue Summary
I’m attempting to import demo content into my locally hosted WordPress website from a Theme but keep getting this error come up.
“It seems to be a problem with your server permissions that denies access to the import.xml file, contact your hosting provider to solve it.”
#### Troubleshooting Questions
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Are you able to achieve the following using Local? and how can we achieve this?
– all write permissions
– at least 256 MB of memory in your php.ini ( you can ask it to your server provider )
– privileges to import all types of files
– increase the timing
#### Replication
I’ve already gotten in touch with the theme owners who have suggested I either use XAMPP or ask on here. So here I am.
I’ve also tried the following from the WordPress forum. However, it only throws more warnings in addition to the error.

Local 5.9.3 + 5100 -
Operating System (OS) and OS version used?
macOS Big Sur 11.0.1 -
The Plugin used with the demo content is ND-Shortcuts V 6.3
