CAPTCHA Error Can't Access Site

Issue Summary

One or two sentence summary of the issue. When I am prompted with WP login to access my admin site, I’m getting a CAPTCHA error that says ERROR : You have entered an incorrect CAPTCHA value.

Troubleshooting Questions

  • Does this happen for all sites in Local, or just one in particular? Just one - one I added a user profile/community plugin on with captcha security. I added the local domain to Google’s Captcha sites, but I’m new to this so I’m not sure if it is operator error or there’s another issue.

Can you tell me how to access my database, identify the plugin file, and delete the plugin that’s creating the problem so I can login to access my local site? Additionally, can you tell me if this is a common problem with Captcha and whether or not I need to disable it while developing on Local?

  • Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site in Local and access it in a Browser?

Yes
