Change server Timezone on Local lightning?

Hey Guys,
I am having trouble authenticating with Google Auth Api in a plugin did some research looks like it might be an issue of different time on the server, my local server time is almost off by 5 hours which I think is why requests are failing.

So far I have tried updating the timezone in php.ini.hbs and nginx.conf.hbs, any other ideas to change this.
