WP Engine Database Push Timeline

Do you have a timeline when the Database push for WPEngine will be available?
thanks

any updates on this? the latest version (released yesterday) still doesnt include push database option

I, too, would like an update on this. As of today, WPE support told me it should be available in about 48-hours.

Where did they get that info?!? I can only hope.

Same too. It’s fairly useless if I can’t push my database up to a Staging / Dev environment.

Any rough ETA?

an ETA will be good about this :stuck_out_tongue:

Agreed. I’m paralysed by not having any idea of the ETA. If it’s a matter of days I’ll wait, if it’s weeks I’ll work out an alternative.

I really would love this tool to work but right now it is way too buggy to be a production release.

I just tied to do a deployment with DB and the DB push doesn’t actually work.

After attempting to push my local site to a staging site, it shows it is processing and then just goes back to the normal screen with no success/confirmation/error message.

Looking at the server I can see that it successfully uploaded the DB to target site’s _wpeprivate, and then created a second version which replaced all the URL references with target site, which appears to have worked, but then the import only has 35 tables while the source DB has 45 tables.

Here are relevant error logs

Local 5.2.5, which launched last week, supports pushing and pulling site databases with WP Engine: Local 5.2.5

Did the latest update work for you?

DevKit powers Connect to WP Engine, and this is the first time it’s available on Windows. Accordingly, we’re working through some new bugs for Windows users. I’ll share your logs with the team and work on an ETA for a fix!

I have been trying to push my local dev to the development live site, since the latest 5.2.5 update. I have been clicking the “include database”. It says it successfully pushes to our live dev site. However, the dev site database is being deleted and nothing is getting pushed (themes/plugins etc.)

Here is the error I’m getting:

WordPress database error Table 'wp_DBNAME.wp_options' doesn't exist for query INSERT INTO wp_options (option_name, option_value, autoload) VALUES ('cron', 'a:2:{i:1582846039;a:1:{s:39:\\"WPEngineSecurityAuditor_Scans_scheduler\\";a:1:{s:32:\\"40cd750bba9870f18aada2478b24840a\\";a:3:{s:8:\\"schedule\\";s:10:\\"twicedaily\\";s:4:\\"args\\";a:0:{}s:8:\\"interval\\";i:43200;}}}s:7:\\"version\\";i:2;}', 'yes') ON DUPLICATE KEY UPDATE option_name = VALUES(option_name), option_value = VALUES(option_value), autoload = VALUES(autoload) /* From [SITEURL.wpengine.com/wp-admin/install.php] in [/nas/content/live/SITE/wp-content/mu-plugins/wpengine-security-auditor.php:326] */ made by require_once('wp-load.php'), require_once('wp-config.php'), require_once('wp-settings.php'), do_action('init'), WP_Hook->do_action, WP_Hook->apply_filters, WPEngineSecurityAuditor_Scans->ensure_scheduled, wp_schedule_event, _set_cron_array, update_option, add_option, referer: http://SITEURL.wpengine.com/wp-admin/themes.php
